Easy to install Real Rider Wheels with rubber tires for Hot Wheels and 1/64 Scale Cars.

1 Wheel set includes 4 alloy wheels with bearings, brake disc, and brake caliper, and rubber tires installed, plus single-piece fixed size axles and multi-piece adjustable size axles!

HOW TO INSTALL:

Drill method:

1) Drill out base rivets with roughly a 9/64" drill bit.

2) Take car apart.

3) Pry open / remove base tabs holding in original wheel axles.

---for plastic bases, you can easily pry them open with small flathead screwdriver, or just snap them off with blade/wire cutters.

---for metal bases, you may be able to snap them off with wire cutters (careful as this will send the tab flying across the room!) if you cannot remove the tab entirely, you will need to use dremel disc to grind off the rest of tab. 

---if you don't care about the stock wheels/axles, you can also just bend them out to easily cut the axle with wire cutters

4) Replace wheels/axles

---if the custom wheels don't fit because axle is too short/long, you will need to adjust custom axle sets, see below.

5) Reassemble car.

---If you didn't overdrill, the base might just snap back together, otherwise you will need to lay car on it's roof and add some super glue onto the posts where the rivets used to be, or use some epoxy putty.

Optional: Lower car's ride height by sanding down the interior that holds the axles.

No Drill method:

1) Cut stock axles with wire cutter.

---you may need to bend the axles down to have room to cut them

2) Use custom axles: 

These wheelsets include 2 types of axles as shown in pictures. Single piece fixed size rods and Multi piece adjustable size axle tubes. You can use whichever you prefer. Both axle types will snap into the wheel hub on the back of wheel, no glue needed, but glue is recommended for safety. The single-piece axles will likely be too long. If they are too long, use a wire cutter needle nose plier or dremel with cutting disc to trim the rods as needed. For the multi-piece axles, you will need to glue the thicker tube onto the base or interior of car, then insert the other tubes into the thick tube and use glue to secure it, but first check size and trim if needed.

Note: if you don't use drill to open car, you can't lower the car's ride height.
