No need to clear coat before installing but you can but not recommended.
NOW with 24 plates instead of 10 for the SAME PRICE!
NOW printed on white film.
Must trim off all white and part of plate edges as straight as you can.
If you leave a white border, a white border will remain on the decal when you transfer it with water.
If you will be using this as a waterslide decal, check size is correct before wetting decal or else it will be near impossible to trim once the backing paper has been removed.
Can glue the plate directly onto car without having to remove backing paper. This will give the plate a 3D effect for realism, best for cars that do not already have a 3D plate effect on it.
Sizes:
Japan / USA: 5.3 x 2.8mm but will be between 4.5 x 2mm and 5 x 2.5mm when trimmed.
European: 6.8 x 2.1mm but will be between 6 x 1.3mm and 6.4 x 1.7mm when trimmed.
Note: Sample cars NOT included with orders. Only decals for sale. See digital preview.

HOW TO INSTALL:
Waterslide decal (recommended if car already has 3D plate):
1) Cut out plate, remove part of plate edges. Use sharp scissors or blade
2) Float on water for 15+ seconds
3) Lightly wet area where decal will be placed so it can slide around easily
4) Transfer decal from decal paper onto car with soft brush or finger
5) Position as needed with brush, finger, or very gently with smooth toothpick
6) Absorb excess water with dry brush. Gently push out water from underneath decals.
7) Optional but recommended: Clear coat entire car after adding decals for protection.
---Once decals have been installed, wait at least 4 hours before adding Clear coat over entire car for protection.
Avoid handling car or decals with oily fingers as they can cause weird results with clear coat!
No need for any decal setting solutions for these decals, but you can if you wish.
Directly (recommended for 3D effect):
1) Cut out decal in the same way as above.
2) Add a tiny drop of super glue onto car's plate area
3) Gently place plate onto the glue, try to center it to the drop of glue
4) Use a toothpick to position plate as needed
5) Gently push down on plate to spread out glue a small amount
Note: Using too much glue can cause a mess of glue going past plate when you push down, so do not use much, the plate is tiny and light so a tiny drop is plenty.
