SIDE VIEW MIRRORS for 1/64 Scale Cars

Too many 1/64 Scale cars don't have Side View Mirrors :(

But here is a solution to turn your boat looking cars into proper scale model cars!

With patience and determination, these side view mirrors will take your customs to the next level, making them look much more realistic!

How to install:

1) Snap off mirrors from bundle connection bars.

--can be snapped off super easily with fingers or do so accurately with wire cutter tool

2) Remove excess bar pieces from mirrors, if any.

---sometimes when you remove from bundle, a tiny piece of the connection bars may remain where the mirror is connected to bundle

3) Sand off any imperfections with fine sand paper

---3D printing is never perfect. You can try to sand them prior to install or after install (may be easier)

4) Use Helping Hands tool to hold tweezers which will grab Side View Mirror to then glue onto car

5) Set car down somewhere steady so it won't move such as table or another set of Helping Hands

6) Orient Side View Mirror as needed for install.

7) Add a tiny bit of super glue to mounting area on Side View Mirror

8) Slowly move mirror to car and ensure proper placement and angle before it dries.

---check front and top view and adjust position as needed

9) Allow it to dry once you are sure placement and angles are as needed.

---Depending on the type of super glue used, wait at least 5 minutes before releasing pressure from tweezers

10) Add additional super glue around mirrors mounting point, if desired.

---I use a fine toothpick for adding super glue

11) Can paint by hand with brush or paint entire car once mirrors are installed and glue is dried.

12) Enjoy your car that no longer looks like a boat! :)

Note: The Window Style Mirrors may require a triangle mounting area to be installed on car first if the car doesn't already have one.

You can use any thin plastic such as Styrene or the plastic from Hot Wheels package for this.

Simply cut a triangle piece as needed and super glue onto window's corner where mirror belongs.

Note: Side view mirrors are 3D printed and fragile, once installed on diecast, car will be fragile so handle carefully or the mirrors may break or fall off (may be able to reglue)
