1/64 Scale Roll Cage Kits
1 kit comes with enough material for at least 2 cars but can easily do up to 4 if you split up the parts differently, possibly even 5 cars with the spare material that connects the main roll cage areas. It was, however, originally designed for 2 full cages for 2 cars.
Works for all types of cars. Sedans, Coupes, Wagon, Trucks. Trimming required for all installations. See tutorial pictures for reference.
Note: Light sanding may be needed along the edges to clean up minor manufacturing imperfections. Recommend to use 80+ Grit SandPaper for this step.
Note: Cage Material is relatively smooth and matte/semi-gloss on one side but textured and glossy on the other side, see pictures for reference. Either side can be used as desired.
Material can be fully bent 180 degrees without cracking. In fact, you can fully bend 180 degrees back and forth multiple times without cracking to create perfect 90 degree bends if needed, material will only break if you twist multiple times at the 180 degree bend spot created.
Regular scissors can be used to easily trim as needed. Cutting blades / X-acto Knifes can be used as well.
No heat needed to bend. Bending is very easy with just your fingers.
Note: Bending will cause color to lighten at bend spot but generally these bend spots will not be visible from outside the car when the car is put back together, but do keep in mind the color cannot be restored once bent, but you can use a sharpie / marker / paint to try to blend the color if desired.
No glue needed to install the main cage part (rear window, roof, and windshield portion)
Just form the cage as needed so that it stays put with minimal pressure. Make sure the window part still sits flush onto the interior portion so the rest of car can be put back together without issue.
Made from biodegradable thermoplastic which is made from renewable resources like corn starch or sugarcanes!
